Since most property showings and open houses have come to a halt during social distancing, you may be looking for ways to replace in-person viewing with online viewing options like virtual tours. Fortunately, there are a number of ways to enhance the viewing options for your listings on your website using your iHomefinder account. If you haven’t taken advantage of these features before, now is the perfect time to start!

Easy Virtual Tour Real Estate Production

You don’t have to hire expensive services to produce effective virtual tours. Shoot video on your mobile device or have the homeowner do it for you. The main focus of your virtual tour videos should be on the flow of the property – inside and out – which is not captured in your listing photos. For a true virtual tour experience, you can use Zillow’s free app to create a tour and use the link that’s provided by that service for your tour (see the final step below).

Once you have the virtual tour video completed, upload it to YouTube or Vimeo. If you’re new to working with video and video services, check out our article Real Estate Video Production Tips For Agents.

The final step is adding a link to the virtual tour within the listing details in your IDX Control Panel. Learn how >

Upload Photos Of Your Listings

You can enhance your own listings with photos that you upload in your iHomefinder account. Use this option if you would like customized photos displayed with your own listings, instead of the photos entered in your MLS® System. Learn how >

Choose “Photo First” Layout

This option displays property details in a new, modern style that highlights property specifics, has an on-page info request form, and a layout that showcases large photos if you have uploaded them for your listings or if they are available from your MLS® System. Learn how >
